Just Had to Show Ya!

Good morning Gals!

I hope everyone is going to have a super weekend! It is raining here...AGAIN! I think we had one dry day this week, so I am more then ready for a little sunshine. My plans were to get out and get some more tweaking done around our house for the summer, but in the meantime I wanted to show you what I got in the mail yesterday.

I have wanted one of these table top benches, for what seems like forever. I got this one from Denise at Sawdusty's over on Etsy and I am just thrilled with it. Knowing me, I will be tweaking this piece often, but for now, I just love the way it looks. Most of the things in my home have some kind of meaning......they were either gifts, or things that were a part of my family. The display on the tabletop is no exception. Both of these pieces were given to me by people that are very dear to me, and I just love thinking of them, every time I sit at my table.
Well that is it for today! I hope you all have a great weekend, and get a spare moment to do something good for yourselves. I am off to work on a couple more projects, and then tomorrow is my grandson's piano recital, with a gathering afterwards, so it is already a full weekend.
Blessings to All.......

  7. Such a lovely tabletop bench and display. I will have to check out the Etsy shop you got it from. I know what you mean about loving people and fond memories evoked by the special pieces in our homes. So many of the things in my home were part of my daughter's fond memories of growing up too. Over time I've been giving her some of the things for her home and it makes her feel so good to have those childhood memories and warm fuzzy feelings close by again.

  8. What a great tabletop gathering! That's a nice piece you got from Sawdusty's! Hope the rain stops for you. We're on 25 days now with no rain. That's unheard of here in the Pacific Northwest! Have a good Sunday! ~~Annie
