Happy Monday Everyone! Brrrr.....is it ever cold!! It has been the perfect weather to stay inside with a nice hot drink, and create! Over the weekend I did get a few moments to work on some new items for my Etsy shop. Here is a set of coasters that I have had in my stash for way too long. I am trying to use up what I already have before buying up more, so I decided to start with these. Of course all that know me know how I love to incorporate stars wherever I can, and this piece was no exception. Love it!
While I had these colors on my palette, I went ahead and did up a star guest soap in the same design. I have black throughout my home, so of course I had to have one for my guest bath.
I had one of these vintage labels left so I decided to use it on this papier mache tissue box. These little boxes are the perfect size for end tables, or anywhere you need a tissue handy. This was my last label that says "Prairie Bonnet Tissues".
This mousepad was tons of fun to paint. I used a Marie Provost design, and framed it in black on the edges. Of course we had to have stars to make it complete.
So it was a busy and productive weekend for me. How about all of you? Hope you all stayed warm and cozy if you are living in the areas of deep freeze......like me. I truly love winter, and can't imagine living anywhere that we didn't have snow, but in a couple of weeks I will be ready to start looking at flower catalogs and planning the garden. Till next time........God Bless
