Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone is enjoying this "last holiday" for the summer. We had our grandson here on Friday night for a sleepover, but after he went back home I did have most of Saturday to get some painting done. Here are a couple of rusty tin metal scoop ornies that I have painted with a couple of Terrye French designs. These look really cute on a holiday themed tree. I love how this noodle board turned out........this is one of the mini noodle boards that I like to use as candle holders when the holiday is over.......I just flip it over and have a great prim surface to use the rest of the year. This also has a Terrye French design, and matches the Fall and Halloween blocks I just showed in my last post.
Just wanting a little something to add to that prim shelf, or fall decorating scheme? This is a mini barrel stave that I painted with just a simple design. I am hoping to get a few more of these made up for the season, so stay tuned.

We have had a great weekend here so far......the weather in Illinois has been quite wonderful, and made it so nice for the holiday family gatherings. We attended two gatherings yesterday, one with family, and the other with friends. So today is relax and catch up day. I am off to get caught up on all your wonderful blogs, and till next time............Blessings as always!
