Happy Friday!

I cannot believe that we have SNOW in the forcast for Illinois this coming week! Hey it is way to early for that kind of stuff! We aren't suppose to get lots, but snowflakes don't go with pumpkins....:) So although we are all still in the Halloween mode, I have put away the ghosts and pumpkins and started in on Holiday items. I hope to have some things completed to show you in the next few days.
Since I am now gearing up for snowmen, santas, and jingle bells, I thought it would be fun to change out my header. I want to thank Mandie for this adorable design. Trash to Treasure Tuesday

Good Morning All!

It has been so long since I have taken a few moments to do a trash to treasure project, and it was great fun yesterday. This was the old remote control holder I showed in a previous post, all redone and prim! What was kind of neat about this project, is I found it in a resale shop, and when you turned it over you could see a young man's name, and lines he had drawn for guides. I am assuming that this was a project from a shop class, and I just have to give it a new life.

I just simply painted it black, distressed, and added the stars. I knew I wanted to keep the simplicity of the piece, and I think it turned out well.
